Pieter D'hooghe

Pieter D'Hooghe is the Chief Medical Officer, Chief of Surgery, and Orthopaedic Sports Surgeon at Aspetar سبيتار. Additionally, Pieter is a Doctor in Medical Sciences PhD at CHU University of Liège and Assistant Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery at Weill Cornell University. With a background as a Professional Helicopter Pilot and experience as the 1st Team Physician for FC Club Brugge, Pieter D'Hooghe has a diverse set of skills and experiences in the field of sports medicine and surgery. Pieter holds a Master's degree in Sports Medicine and Orthopaedic Surgery from the University of Leuven and has completed fellowships in sports surgery of the lower limb and tropical medicine. Pieter also participated in the 2015 New York Marathon.
