Begona Carreno-Gomez

Begona Carreno-Gomez is currently serving as the Chief Business Development Officer at Aspeya since March 2023. Prior to this role, a notable tenure at Novartis from October 2004 to February 2023 included various leadership positions such as World Wide Head of BD&L in Ophthalmology and Respiratory, as well as Global Head of Search & Evaluation for multiple therapeutic areas including Primary Care and Cardiovascular & Metabolism. The earlier career included responsibilities for external pharmaceutical projects at Almirall from 2000 to 2004. Academic qualifications include a PhD in Drug Delivery from The School of Pharmacy, University of London, and a BSc in Biochemistry & Chemistry from Keele University.
