Oriol Verdú Bautista

Oriol Verdú Bautista is currently an Industrial PhD Student and Scientific & Regulatory Affairs Officer at ASPHALION since July 2023. Prior experience includes a Research Intern role at IrsiCaixa AIDS Research Institute, focusing on the NEOVAC project, and a Research Internship at HIPRA in R+D Biologicals, where skills in sterile conditions were developed. Oriol also completed a Research Internship at LEQUIA, contributing to a bachelor's thesis on CO2 biotransformation using Bioelectrochemical Systems, and gained experience in project management at Anaxomics Biotech S.L. Oriol's educational background includes a current Doctor of Philosophy in Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, and Biomedicine at Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona, a Master in Pharmaceutical Industry and Biotechnology from Universitat Pompeu Fabra, and a dual Bachelor's degree in Biotechnology and Biology from Universitat de Girona.
