Asphalt Green
Lugo Janet is a seasoned Zumba instructor with extensive experience as a Zumba Zin License Instructor and certifications in Pon De Flo and STRONG by Zumba since March 2014. Lugo teaches Zumba classes at multiple locations including Asphalt Green and various 24 Hour Fitness and NYSC sites throughout Manhattan. Alongside fitness instruction, Lugo has served as an Administrative Assistant at Morgan, Lewis & Bockius LLP since June 2001, managing tasks such as typing letters for employee Photo IDs. Lugo holds a Master's degree in Secretarial studies from the American Business Institute of Technology/Hostos Community College and graduated from DeWitt Clinton.

Asphalt Green is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing all New Yorkers with the opportunity to achieve healthful living through sports and fitness. A Manhattan fixture for nearly forty years, Asphalt Green, with its expert instructors, coaches, and staff, offers high-quality sports, swim, and fitness instruction and programs for children and adults. It’s free community outreach programs bring these services to children throughout Queens, Brooklyn, and the Bronx. Asphalt Green offers a diverse range of programs that cater to individuals of all skill levels and backgrounds, from public school students first learning to swim, to teens playing recreational sports in our free community leagues, to elite athletes training for Ironman races or triathlons.
