Chip Ray

Chip Ray's work experience spans over several decades in the asphalt industry. Chip began their career in 1985 at Elf Asphalt Inc., working as a Materials Engineer and later taking on the role of Sales Representative. In 1993, they joined Koch Materials Company as a Sales Representative and subsequently held positions as Technical Sales Manager and Manager. Chip then moved to SemMaterials LP in 2005, where they served as General Manager until 2009. From 2009 to 2015, they worked at Asphalt Materials Inc. as the Manager of Supply and Transportation. Chip later became President of Western States Asphalt, LLC in 2016 before transitioning to their current role as President of Asphalt Materials, Inc. in 2020.

Chip Ray completed their Bachelor of Science in Construction Management & Structural Engineering from the Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology between 1982 and 1986. After gaining several years of professional experience, they pursued further education and obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Notre Dame - Mendoza College of Business from 2012 to 2014.
