Todd Pappas began their work experience in 2007 as a Scientific Writer at Asuragen. Todd then worked as a Consultant for Grant Writing support in 2009. In 2010, they joined Luminex Corporation as the Director of R&D, Biodefense and Food Safety, where they developed and received funding for multiple grants and contracts. In 2013, they became the Principal at calliope llc. Later that year, in December 2013, they joined Vermillion, Inc. as a Development Scientist, and in October 2015, they were promoted to Director of Research and Development. In 2017, Todd joined Delphi Inc as the Chief Commercialization Officer and Director of Clinical Operations. In May 2019, they took on the role of Vice President of Clinical and Regulatory Affairs at Reliant Immune Diagnostics.

Todd Pappas has an extensive education history in the field of science. Todd began their academic journey in 1979 at Loyola Marymount University, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in General Biology. After completing their undergraduate studies in 1983, they took a step further and enrolled at California State University, Long Beach, where they successfully completed a Master's degree in Behavioral Biology between 1984 and 1988. To further enhance their knowledge and expertise, Todd pursued a Ph.D. at The University of Texas Medical Branch from 1988 to 1995, specializing in Neuroscience. Throughout their educational journey, Todd has focused on various aspects of biology, particularly in the fields of behavioral biology and neuroscience, establishing a solid foundation in scientific research and analysis.
