George Rivera

George Rivera is an experienced social work professional with a strong background in therapeutic services and program management. Currently serving as a Master of Social Work Intern - Therapist at Aspire Counseling Network since April 2023, George provides outpatient clinical therapy utilizing motivational interviewing techniques. Previously, as the Seasons Program Director at Red Willow Counseling & Recovery, George developed an intensive outpatient program tailored to the LGBTQ+ community. George's extensive experience also includes program management at First Step House, where responsibilities encompassed both property management and service provision for homeless veterans and fathers. With a Bachelor of Science in Behavioral Science from Utah Valley University, George has accumulated diverse experience across various roles, focusing on youth supervision, crisis intervention, and therapeutic approaches.
