Aspire Education
Drake Shafer has extensive experience in both education and healthcare. Currently serving as a STEM Tutor at Aspire Education Project since October 2019, Drake provides tutoring in physics, chemistry, and algebra to high school students. In addition, Drake has been a Research Assistant at UC Berkeley School of Public Health since July 2018, contributing to multiple research projects through data management tasks. Previous roles include serving as a Research Assistant in the Pediatrics Department at Stanford University School of Medicine, a Medical Volunteer at MAXIMO NIVEL in Peru, and a BUILD Mentor at UC Berkeley Public Service Center, focusing on tutoring underprivileged elementary students. Other experience includes internships and volunteer positions in various healthcare settings. Drake holds a Doctor of Medicine degree from California University of Science and Medicine, expected in 2024, and a Bachelor's degree with a double major in Molecular and Cell Biology and Public Health from the University of California, Berkeley.
