Emily Hunsinger

Director, Grant Billing & Compliance at Aspire Indiana Health

Emily Hunsinger has extensive work experience in the field of homelessness prevention and social services. Emily most recently worked at Aspire Indiana Health as the Director of Grant Billing & Compliance. Prior to that, they were the Manager of Social Drivers of Health at the same organization.

Before joining Aspire Indiana Health, Emily held various roles at different organizations. Emily worked at the Coalition for Homelessness Intervention and Prevention as the Continuum of Care Manager, where they managed multiple areas of focus including governance, communications, equity, funding applications, and capacity building. Emily also coordinated the annual governing board elections and maintained the organization's website and newsletter.

Emily previously worked at the Indiana Housing and Community Development Authority as the Homeless Programs Administrator. Emily also served as a Supportive Services for Veteran Families Case Manager at Volunteers of America - Indiana and a Care Manager at CICOA, Aging & In-Home Solutions.

Earlier in their career, Emily held multiple positions at New Hope Housing, including Interim Program Coordinator, Senior Community Case Manager, Outreach Worker, and Case Manager. Emily also worked as a Singles Case Manager at FACETS and as a Hypothermia Prevention Response Program Facilitator at the same organization.

Emily's work experience also includes an internship at Justice 2000.

Emily Hunsinger attended Marquette University from 2003 to 2007, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Criminology & Law Studies and Sociology.
