Nelson Fretwell

Nelson Fretwell has extensive experience in the pharmaceutical and nutraceutical industries, with a focus on sales, sourcing, and manufacturing. Nelson is currently working as the VP of Sales at Aspire Pharmaceuticals since May 2023. Prior to this, they served as the VP Strategic Sourcing at GNC from April 2021 to May 2023. Nelson also worked at Watson Inc as a Sr. Account Manager from June 2018 to April 2021 and as the Director of Sales at Divi's Nutraceuticals from November 2016 to June 2018. Nelson started their career in 1997 at Nutra Manufacturing, where they initially worked as a Warehouse Supervisor and later led a special project related to DSHEA conversion. Nelson then joined Barrington Nutritionals as the NA Sales - Food and Beverage representative from May 2005 to September 2007. From September 2007 to August 2011, they worked as a Territory Sales Manager at CapsCanada, where they managed a significant customer base and developed a sales tracking tool for the North American sales team. Lastly, they worked at Perrigo as the Global Sourcing Manager from August 2011 to October 2016, responsible for sourcing raw materials and managing site operations.

Nelson Fretwell attended the University of South Carolina from 1991 to 1995, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and Management, General. Nelson also obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in the same field of study.
