Michael Holzhueter

Michael Holzhueter is an experienced legal and administrative professional with a career spanning over two decades in the healthcare sector. Currently serving as the Senior Vice President, General Counsel, and Administrative Services at Aspirus since February 2021, Michael previously held key positions at Nuvance Health, where responsibilities included Chief Administrative Officer and Chief Legal Officer, as well as Senior Vice President and General Counsel from June 2014 to January 2020. Prior to that, Michael was Vice President and General Counsel at Cadence Health from June 2005 to May 2014, and served as Associate General Counsel and Assistant Secretary at the University of Chicago Hospitals from 2001 to 2005. Career beginnings included the role of Associate General Counsel at Advocate Health Care from 1996 to 2001 and an associate position in the Health Care Department at McDermott Will & Emery from 1995 to 1996.
