Michael Walters

Michael Walters has extensive work experience in the healthcare industry. From 2001 to 2012, they worked at the University of Wisconsin-Madison School of Medicine and Public Health as an Attending Physician, holding various roles including Director of Medical Student Education and Director of Clinical Operations. From 2012 to 2020, they served as the Chief Medical Officer at Divine Savior Healthcare, a community hospital, where their responsibilities included medical direction, financial management, quality improvement, and the improvement of the patient experience. Since 2020, they have been working at Aspirus Health as the Senior Vice President and System Chief Medical Officer, overseeing specialty care and serving as a system senior physician.
