Julien FINCI

CTO and Co-Founder at Aspivix

Julien FINCI has held various positions in the technology and research fields. From 2015 to present, they have been the CTO and Co-Founder of Aspivix, as well as a Founding Board Member. From 2008 to present, they have been a Project Manager Optical Sensors R&D and an Optical Sensors R&D Engineer at Radiometer, with the goal of developing a generic optical pCO2 sensor module to measure the partial pressure pCO2 by mean of an optical technology. From 2008 to present, they have been a Scientific Collaborator at EPFL. In 2007, they completed their Master Thesis at the MAX BORN INSTITUTE for Nonlinear Optics and Short Pulse Spectroscopy.

Julien FINCI has a diverse educational background. Julien attended Collège Rousseau from 1997 to 2001, then obtained a Master of Sciences in Microengineering from EPFL (École polytechnique fédérale de Lausanne) from 2002 to 2008. Julien also attended the Conservatoire de Musique de Genève from 1989 to 2004, where they obtained a Certificat de fin d'études non professionnelles in Musique (Violon). In 2011, they obtained a Chef de Projet degree in Project Management from CEFCO. In 2016, they attended USI Università della Svizzera italiana, where they completed an Advanced short course on Medtech Entrepreneurship at USI. Julien FINCI also holds four additional certifications: Innosuisse Business Growth Medtech from Venturelab (obtained in October 2018), Visual Project Management, Speed Design Review, Problem Solving Process, 3P (Production Process Preparation) from Danaher Corporation (obtained in November 2016), Venture Plan from Venturelab (obtained in November 2012), and CAPM from Project Management Institute (obtained in January 2014).
