Janne Mörttinen

Janne Matilainen is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in creative leadership and product development. Currently serving as Creative Director at PiKL Worldwide since May 2023, Janne Matilainen previously co-founded Gigle in September 2016, where the role includes Chief Product Officer, focusing on digitizing live performance management through a white label SaaS product. Prior to this, Janne Matilainen was Creative Director at Playforia Inc from March 2008 to March 2015, contributing to the development of popular games that achieved over 1 million monthly active users. As Co-founder and Creative Director of Apaja Creative Solutions from September 2001 to April 2008, Janne Matilainen established the online game service Aapeli, which became a leading brand among Finnish youth. Earlier experience includes serving as Art Director at Saunalahti Oyj/Jippii Group Oyj from April 1999 to September 2001, contributing to one of Finland's most popular websites and early mobile content. Janne Matilainen holds an educational background from Metropolia University of Applied Sciences from 1997 to 1999.
