Stan Baumgartner

Proven strategic partner with significant operations and costing experience in private equity-backed and public multi-plant, international companies, $100M and $1.5B size. Stan has led all finance functions, IT, purchasing, treasury, risk, and BOD level communications. A hands-on, right arm to CEO in growth firms (e.g. Henkel chemicals, from $55 to $330M sales; SIG Sauer $330 to $600M sales), and in highly stressed businesses (semiconductor, automotive). He developed metrics/targets/cost/margin impact for operations undergoing factory automation, helping reduce labor by 40%, increase output by 30%, and raised gross margins by 420 bps. Stan led an ERP conversion to SAP and numerous cross-functional team projects. Two IPO’s Increased credit facilities ($300M) to support growth 24 M&A transactions. He built a strong SIG Sauer Finance team which became a key business partner to the business unit, product line, and operations leaders. Stan also has tremendous experience in Operations, Ops metrics, EBIT impact, factory automation, pricing, and working capital reduction.
