Edwin Bess has extensive experience in engineering and construction management, currently serving as a Field Construction Engineer at the Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command (NAVFAC) since May 2020. Prior to this role, Edwin Bess worked at Parsons Corporation from August 2012 to April 2020 as a Site Superintendent and Project Manager on an advanced metering project for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE). Edwin Bess holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering from Florida State University, completed in May 2009, and a Journeyman degree in Electrical, Electronic, and Communications Engineering Technology from George Stone Career Center, attained between 2013 and 2018.
