Alberto Pirola

Principal Analog Design Engineer at ASR Microelectronics

Alberto Pirola has a strong background in analog and RF design engineering. Alberto is currently working as a Principal Analog Design Engineer at ASR Microelectronics International since October 2020. Prior to that, they worked at Catena Group as a Senior Analog/RF Design Engineer from July 2017 to August 2020. Alberto also gained valuable experience at Marvell Semiconductor, where they held various roles including Senior Analog/RF Design Engineer from April 2013 to June 2017, and Analog Design Engineer from December 2010 to March 2013. At Marvell Semiconductor, Alberto was involved in designing RF multistandard transceivers, as well as analog building blocks for transceivers. Alberto also conducted analog spec analysis and architecture definition.

Alberto Pirola has a strong educational background in the field of electronics and microelectronics. Alberto began their education at Liceo Ginnasio Ugo Foscolo in Pavia, where they obtained their HS Diploma in Classic Studies in 2002. Following this, they enrolled in Università di Pavia and completed their Bachelor's degree in Electronic Engineering from 2002 to 2005. Alberto then continued at the same university to pursue a Master's degree in Electronic Engineering, which they completed in 2007.

In addition to their academic degrees, Pirola obtained a National Licensing for Engineers certification from Ordine degli ingegneri in November 2007.

Alberto Pirola's educational journey culminated in their Ph.D. in Microelectronics, which they earned from Università di Pavia between the years 2007 and 2010.
