Alana Johnson

Alana Johnson (Casanova) is a seasoned communications professional with extensive experience in public affairs and media relations, currently serving as a Senior Communications Specialist for the NASA Planetary Science Division at ASRC Federal since March 2019. Prior roles include Public Affairs Specialist at the Defense Information Systems Agency, where proactive media engagement was utilized to shape audience opinion, and Instructor in the Public Affairs Leadership Department at the Defense Information School. Alana has held significant positions in various organizations, including leading communications for the Defense Cyber Crime Center, serving as Public Affairs Director for the US Air Force Office of Special Investigations, and working as an Assistant Professor of Aerospace Studies.
