Dave Ziegler

Senior Vice President And General Manager at ASRC Federal

Dave Ziegler has had an extensive career in the aerospace and defense industry. Dave started their career in 1989 at the Secretary of the Air Force Special Programs, where they held several leadership roles, including Director of Advanced Spacecraft Acquisition. After that, they worked at U.S. Space Command as Deputy Director of the Commander's Action Group and Chief of the Programs and Budget Branch. Dave then went on to serve as Commander of the 76th Space Operations Squadron and the 76th Space Control Squadron. In 2001, they participated in the Secretary of Defense Corporate Fellows Program as a Fortune 100 Corporate Fellow. Ziegler later held command positions at the 50th Operations Group, Headquarters Air Force, and the 460th Space Wing. From 2007 to 2013, they worked at Integrity Applications Incorporated, where they were the ESD 3.0 Program Manager and Deputy Program Manager. Dave also served as Chief of GPS Mission Planning and Concept of Operations. Since 2014, Ziegler has been with ASRC Federal, initially as Vice President and General Manager and now as Senior Vice President and General Manager.

Dave Ziegler's education history includes a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Astronautical Engineering from the United States Air Force Academy, which they obtained from 1978 to 1982. Dave further pursued a Master of Science (M.S.) in Astronautical Engineering from the U.S. Air Force Institute of Technology, completed from 1988 to 1989. In 1996 to 1997, they attended the School of Advanced Airpower Studies, where they obtained a Master of Arts (M.A.) in Airpower Art and Science. Additionally, in 2005, they briefly attended Harvard University's Kennedy School of Government as a Senior Executive Fellow.
