Senior Principal Cyber Security Engineer / Project Manager at ASRC Federal

Deryk Gannon has extensive work experience in the field of cyber security. Deryk started their career at MITRE in 1996 as an Information System Security Engineer and was later promoted to the role of Senior Information Security Engineer. From 2003 to 2005, they served as the Lead Information Security Engineer at MITRE. In 2005, they joined ASRC Federal where they held multiple positions, starting as a Senior Principal Cyber Security Engineer and Junior Project Manager. Deryk later moved on to become a Senior Principal Cyber Security Engineer and Intermediate Project Manager, and finally, a Senior Principal Cyber Security Engineer and Project Manager.

Deryk Gannon holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Rowan University, which they obtained from 1994 to 1996. Deryk also has an Associate's degree in Accounting and Business/Management from Middlesex College. Additionally, Deryk has obtained various certifications including PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP), Project Management Professional (PMP), GIAC Information Security Professional (GISP), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), and Certified Network Defense Architect (CNDA).
