Barry Hart

Barry Hart is a seasoned professional in the oil and gas industry with extensive experience in drilling fluids and operational management. Currently serving as Fluids Superintendent at Assala Energy since July 2023, Barry previously held roles such as Fluids and Cement Superintendent at Perenco from June 2018 to June 2023, and Senior Drilling Fluids Advisor at Tullow Oil from August 2013 to July 2015. Earlier positions include Operations Manager for Baroid in both Tanzania and the Netherlands/France with Halliburton, and Country Manager for Libya at Baker Hughes. Barry's career began in 1995 with Halliburton as a Technical Professional and includes diverse experiences such as Mud Engineer and Mud Plant Manager in various global locations. Barry holds a B.Eng in Industrial Geology and an HND in Industrial Geology from Camborne School of Mines, alongside A Level qualifications in Economics and Geography from Bryanston School.
