Edgar Ognane

Edgar Mba Ognane is an experienced operations leader currently serving as Operations Director at Assala Energy since October 2017, where responsibilities encompass all operations related matters including wells, projects, production, and supply chain at Assala Gabon. Prior to this role, Edgar held several positions within Shell from June 2010 to September 2017, including Drilling Manager and Head of Operations for Deepwater Wells, with a strong focus on well engineering and operations readiness. Edgar’s extensive background also features roles as Wells Manager and various engineering positions focused on well delivery processes and lifecycle management. Edgar holds a Master of Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Bath and further training in Well Engineering from Shell.
