Joel Mbadinga

Joel Mbadinga is an experienced professional in data management and geomatics, currently serving as the Head of Data Management and Geomatics at Assala Energy since November 2017. In this role, Joel leads a team of Technical Data Managers and Geomaticians, overseeing data management operations and services. Prior to this, Joel spent over eleven years at Shell Gabon, where leadership roles included Head of Information and Data and Senior Technical Data Management Workflow Consultant, focusing on data quality, functional improvements, and end-user training. Joel's career began at Micropole as a Consultant in Business Intelligence, implementing data warehouse solutions. Educational qualifications include a Master’s Degree in Management Information Systems and Business Management from the University of Lille 1 Sciences and Technology, and a Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering and Automation from Université de Picardie Jules Verne.
