Annelies Husmann has a diverse and extensive work experience. Annelies began their career in political campaigns, serving as campaign staff for various campaigns from 2006 to 2008. Annelies then transitioned to Media Matters for America, where they worked as the Director of Executive Outreach from 2008 to 2009.
In 2009, Annelies joined Opower as a Client Solutions Associate, responsible for extending and upselling existing accounts and generating new business. Annelies also worked cross-departmentally to create and execute program management plans. Annelies stayed with Opower until 2011 when they joined Yammer as an Account Executive. At Yammer, they contributed to revolutionizing employee communication and collaboration.
Annelies' next role was at AdRoll, where they held multiple positions. Annelies started as an Account Executive in 2013, then became a Team Lead for B2B Mid Market Sales in 2014. Later that year, they were promoted to Manager of NA Sales & Account Management, leading teams in San Francisco and New York City and focusing on driving new revenue and strategic growth.
In 2015, Annelies joined Mode as the Vice President of Direct Sales, where they recruited and managed a team of over 20 representatives. Annelies implemented sales efficiency and reporting tools and stayed with the company until 2019.
Following their time at Mode, Annelies embarked on a year-long travel experience with their husband, exploring national parks in the United States and visiting 14 countries in Europe and Asia.
Upon returning, Annelies joined Gong as the Head of Enterprise Sales - New Business in 2020. Annelies then transitioned to the role of Head of Enterprise Sales - Growth in 2022 before moving on to their current position as Head of Sales at Assembled in 2023.
Annelies Husmann holds a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Corporate Communications from The University of Texas at Austin. In addition to their formal education, they have also obtained certifications in Frontline - The #1 Global Sales Management Bootcamp from SalesOps Central, LifeLabs from LifeLabs Learning, and Sandler Training from Sandler Training.
