Michael Liang

Michael Liang is a Machine Learning Researcher at AssemblyAI, focusing on building and deploying improved automatic speech recognition models. Previously, Michael was a Co-Founder at Culturestride, where they worked on developing a Mandarin online language learning platform. As the Founder of Tribespot, Michael created recruitment software for student clubs. Additionally, Michael has interned at Atlassian, Microsoft, and worked as a Marketing Coordinator at Paydock. Michael holds a Bachelor of Commerce/Information Systems degree from UNSW and has studied at Tongji University, Fudan University, and UCLA.
