Matías Grüzmacher

Matías Grüzmacher started their work experience in 2008 with a summer internship at Carey y Cia., the largest law firm in Chile. Matías then worked as a mandatory professional practice at Public Judicial Assistance from June 2010 to November 2010. In 2011, they served as an assistant of the Trade Law Chair at the University of Chile. From 2010 to 2013, Matías worked as an associate at Bofill Mir & Álvarez Jana Abogados, where they gained experience in corporate law, litigation, mining, and arbitration. Matías interned at Lindenpartners in July 2014 and served as a Legal Manager at Signavio GmbH from October 2014 to November 2015. Matías worked at Deloitte Chile as a Senior Consultant in Corporate Governance, Financial Regulation & Compliance from May 2016 to August 2017. Matías then joined Bofill Mir & Álvarez Jana again as an associated from September 2017 to February 2019. Currently, they are an Associate Director Legal Counsel at Moneda Asset Management, where they manage legal matters for the independent asset manager. Additionally, Matías worked as a Professor of Civil Law at the University of Santiago, Chile, from March 2020 to February 2022.

Matías Grüzmacher obtained their J.D. from Universidad de Concepción between 2004 and 2008. In 2013 and 2014, they pursued an LL.M. degree at Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin. Later, in 2017, they completed a Specialization Course in Computer Science, Internet, and Law at Universidad de Chile.
