Pedro Canelas

Pedro C. has a diverse work experience in equity research and investment roles. Pedro first started as an intern at Itau BBA, working with the strategy team of the proprietary trading desk. Pedro then co-founded an internet startup called Linkanimal, where they held the role of co-founder and product manager. Pedro developed the company's application and managed their online marketing strategy, as well as securing their first round of VC funding. After that, Pedro worked as an equity research analyst at Una Capital Ltda., where they gained valuable experience in analyzing stocks. Pedro then pursued an MBA at Columbia Business School, specializing in full-time and value investing. During their MBA, Pedro worked as an equity research analyst for Hunter Capital Limited Partnership, where they learned primary research techniques and tested investment theses. Pedro also completed a summer internship as an equity research analyst at T. Rowe Price. Most recently, Pedro worked as an associate director of equity research at Moneda Asset Management. Overall, Pedro has a strong background in equity research and investing, with experience in both hedge funds and asset management.

Pedro C. completed their Bachelor's degree in Economics from FGV - Fundação Getulio Vargas between 2005 and 2010. Subsequently, they pursued an MBA degree in the Value Investing Program at Columbia Business School from 2017 to 2019.
