Jennifer Shen has a diverse work experience in marketing and research. Jennifer currently works at Assent as a Marketing Operations Specialist. Jennifer also has experience as a Marketing Assistant at STEMCELL Technologies, where they sourced marketing material and maintained inventory.

Prior to entering the field of marketing, Jennifer worked as a Pharmacy Assistant at Loblaw Companies Limited and as an Undergraduate Researcher at Simon Fraser University, where they gained experience in inventory management, purchasing, and research techniques.

Jennifer Shen attended Simon Fraser University from 2009 to 2014, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology/Biological Sciences. Jennifer later pursued a Professional Diploma in Digital Marketing from the Digital Marketing Institute, completing the program in 2020. In 2022, they enrolled in a Data Analytics program at BrainStation. Additionally, Jennifer has obtained several certifications including "Become a Digital Advertising Specialist" from LinkedIn, "Eloqua B2B Luminary" and "Eloqua B2B Master" from Eloqua, "Email Marketing Certified" from HubSpot Academy, "General Laboratory, Fire, Chemical, and Biohazard Safety" from Simon Fraser University, and "Innovation Through Design: Think, Make, Break, Repeat" from Coursera.
