Katie Grillaert

Katie Grillaert serves as the Chief Strategy Officer and Co-Founder of Assessed Intelligence, focusing on aligning teams to enhance secure, ethical, and equitable AI and technology controls. Prior to this role, Katie founded Ethoscope, where guiding principles for technology use were established, and ethical analyses conducted to inform program development, while leading an ethics committee for a technology solution addressing humanitarian challenges. Additionally, Katie founded and led The Petra Center / Fetch Dog Training and Behavior for over a decade, specializing in animal behavior and mentoring trainers, while also collaborating with local rescues. Academic contributions include a lecturer position at Carroll University, complemented by a Master of Science degree in Interdisciplinary Studies in Human-Animal Interactions from the University of Veterinary Medicine, Vienna, and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Minnesota.
