Since January 1979, they have been associated with Alessandra & Associates, Inc., where they fulfilled the roles of Professional Keynote Speaker and Business Author.

Tony Alessandra is also a Hall of Fame Member of the National Speakers Association, a position they have held since 1979. From 1979 to 1985, they were a Partner at Cathcart, Alessandra & Associates, Inc.

Tony Alessandra PhD attended the University of Notre Dame from 1965 to 1969, where they earned a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree with a focus on Marketing. Following this, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree in Marketing from the University of Connecticut School of Business from 1969 to 1970. Subsequently, they enrolled at the Georgia State University - J. Mack Robinson College of Business and obtained their PhD in Marketing between 1973 and 1976. Tony also completed a second BBA in Marketing at the University of Notre Dame's Mendoza College of Business during their time there. Earlier on, Tony Alessandra attended St. Rose High School from 1961 to 1963. Additionally, Tony Alessandra holds a certification as a CPAE (Certified Platform Speaker) and is a member of the Speaker Hall of Fame, which was awarded by the National Speakers Association.
