Adam Rice, MBA

Adam Rice, MBA, has an extensive work experience in various leadership roles. Adam is the Chief Executive Officer and Founder of Asset Direct, the parent company of LoanConnect and CreditLinks. This company aims to connect underserved individuals with alternative financial service providers. Adam has been leading Asset Direct since March 2016. Adam also serves as the Chief Executive Officer at CreditLinks.in, a division of Asset Direct, starting from May 2021. Furthermore, Adam has been the Chief Executive Officer of LoanConnect since September 2016.

In addition to their executive roles, Adam is an Adjunct Professor at Fanshawe College since December 2021. Adam is also actively involved in community organizations as a Board Member of Head Injury Rehabilitation Ontario since June 2021 and Goodwill Industries Ontario Great Lakes since June 2020.

Prior to their current positions, Adam worked as a Financial Advisor at Sun Life, specifically at Rice and Associates Financial, from October 2011 to June 2014. Adam also held the position of VP of Sales and Business Development at Koda Media Group from January 2009 to October 2011. At Koda, they worked with renowned brands in creating web content and advertising materials.

Before that, Adam was the Co-Founder and Chief Operating Officer at SeekSource Solutions from June 2008 to February 2009. SeekSource Solutions developed a software that aggregated house listings from various real-estate websites in China. Adam also gained experience as the President of China2 from January 2006 to September 2007.

Adam Rice, MBA has a diverse education history with a focus on business and entrepreneurship. In 2003, they began their academic journey at Huron University, where they pursued a degree in International Development and Globalization Studies. Adam completed their undergraduate studies in 2008. Later, in 2007-2008, Adam studied International Relations at The University of Hong Kong.

In 2014-2015, Adam Rice pursued a Graduate Degree in Communications and Management (GdipM) at Western University, emphasizing business administration and management. Building on this foundation, they then pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the Australian Institute of Business between 2015 and 2017.

To further enhance their expertise, Adam recently completed the Masters in Innovation and Entrepreneurship program at HEC Paris in 2021-2022. This program provided a comprehensive understanding of entrepreneurship and entrepreneurial studies.

In addition to their academic pursuits, Adam has obtained certifications that contribute to their skill set. Adam completed the Innovation Governance Program Level 1 from the Council of Canadian Innovators | Conseil Canadien des Innovateurs in March 2022.
