Mike Butler

Mike Butler has extensive work experience in various roles and industries. Mike began their career in the restaurant industry, working as an Assistant General Manager and later as a Kitchen Manager at Boston Pizza Restaurants, LP. In 2011, they transitioned to the technology sector and joined JVCKENWOOD Canada Inc. as a Marketing Associate. Over the years, they progressed to Assistant Manager and eventually became the Manager of Marketing & Corporate Communications before leaving in 2016.

Afterward, Mike joined Kanetix Ltd. as the Head of Strategic Partnerships, Money. During their time there, they played a crucial role in helping Canadians find the right personal finance products at the best rates. Mike remained with the company until 2019.

In 2020, Mike took on the role of VP of Operations at LoanConnect, where they focused on enabling consumers to access instant approval credit from multiple lending institutions through a user-friendly platform.

Currently, Mike is the VP of Operations at Asset Direct. In this role, they are leading the creation of a global network of financial sales agents, aiming to provide underbanked individuals with better access to financial services. This initiative aims to offer a new revenue opportunity for agents while bridging the gap in global financing options.

Mike Butler attended the University of Ottawa from 2003 to 2007, where they obtained a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Marketing.
