Sherra Avila

Sherra Avila has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Sherra currently holds the position of Senior Software Engineer/Scrum Master at ASSET InterTech, Inc. since July 2021. Prior to that, Sherra worked as a Computer Scientist at Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division (NAWCWD) from November 2014 to July 2021. Sherra also has experience in the education sector, having served as a Secondary Math Teacher at Howard County Public Schools from August 2010 to August 2013, and at Norfolk Public Schools from August 2008 to July 2010.

Sherra Avila obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Mathematics and Computer Science from Seattle University from 2000 to 2003. Sherra then pursued further education and earned a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Computer Science from National University from 2013 to 2014.
