Derek Chan

Derek Chan is a versatile professional with extensive experience in music production and community services. As the owner and operator of The Train Station Studio in La Mesa, CA, Derek specializes in audio editing for various multimedia projects since December 2017. Concurrently, Derek works as a Community Assistant and Maintenance Technician at Asset Campus Housing and has a background as a Musician with a focus on pop-punk composition and performance since 2013. Previous roles include Community Assistant at Campus Center Apartments, Sales Representative at Formal Headquarters Intl, and a Guitar Teacher for various skill levels from 2010 to 2014. Derek also contributed to the City of Fremont's Parks and Recreation Services and briefly worked as a Sales Associate at Halloween Express. Educationally, Derek holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration and Management with a focus on Entrepreneurship from San Diego State University, completed in 2018, as well as a high school diploma from John F. Kennedy High School.
