Curtis Barbre

Curtis Barbre is a seasoned mechanical engineer and advisor with extensive experience in hardware engineering, product development, and innovation across various industries. Currently serving as the Mechanical Engineering Lead at AssetWatch® since January 2023, Curtis focuses on creating advanced automated monitoring hardware for predictive maintenance. In addition, Curtis advises Esper Bionics, a pioneering startup in human augmentation, and previously held key roles at Population, Norbert Health, TARFORM, CTRL-labs, Pensa, and several research labs. Academic credentials include a Master’s degree in Biomedical Engineering from NYU Tandon School for Engineering and a Bachelor’s in Industrial Design from Pratt Institute.
