Shawn Nichols is an accomplished professional in research and development with extensive experience in product management, business development, and technology engineering. Currently serving as VP of Research & Development at AssetWatch® since October 2017, Shawn leads initiatives focusing on hardware aspects, regulatory compliance, and intellectual property management. Previous roles include VP of Product, where responsibilities encompassed technology roadmaps and stakeholder communication, as well as Director of Business Development and Strategy, driving technical sales and strategic partnerships. Prior positions at Energizer Holdings included senior technology engineering roles that emphasized open innovation and system design, alongside earlier experiences at L-3 Communications and as an Electrical Engineering instructor at the University of Dayton. Shawn holds both a master's and bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Dayton.
