Balamurugan Sivakolunthu Vel serves as the Vice President of Data Engineering at AssistRx since April 2025, having previously held a similar title at AllazoHealth from August 2018 to April 2025, where responsibilities included leading the development of AI-driven solutions tailored for the pharmaceutical industry. At AllazoHealth, Balamurugan was instrumental in integrating Large Language Models into software development and creating Retrieval-Augmented Generation applications. Earlier experience includes a significant tenure at FTI Consulting, where Balamurugan managed data conversion projects and developed data warehouse solutions for extensive corporate litigation cases. Additional roles span from country manager at Gabriels Technology Solutions, where Balamurugan established a new subsidiary, to various data engineering and analytical positions at Rubix Technology Solutions and earlier companies. Balamurugan holds a Master of Science in Computer & Information Science from the New Jersey Institute of Technology and a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science and Engineering from Anna University Chennai.
