Saijie Sim is a seasoned professional in the submarine cable and offshore renewable energy sectors, currently serving as the Technical Solutions Manager for APAC at Asso.subsea since October 2025. Prior experience includes managing HVDC submarine cable projects at Sun Cable and overseeing array cable installations for the East Anglia 1 Offshore Wind Farm while at ScottishPower. Saijie has a strong background in engineering management from Prysmian Group and consultancy work in offshore development at Intertek, complemented by an early career as an Electrical Engineer at Buro Happold. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Offshore & Ocean Technology from Cranfield University and a Master of Engineering in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Bristol.
