Adam Northover Fcmi

Adam Northover MA FCMI is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in maritime safety and operations. Currently serving as Group Technical Authority and Designated Person at Associated British Ports since January 2023, Adam plays a crucial role in the Central Marine leadership and Port Marine Safety Code governance. Previously, Adam held the position of Business Change Manager at the UK Ministry of Defence from April 2020 to January 2023 and served in various capacities at the Royal Navy, including Lead Planner, Officer In Charge, and Director Royal Naval Division, contributing significantly to naval training and operational planning. Adam holds a Master of Arts in Defence Studies from King's College London and a PG Diploma in Applied Navigation from the University of Plymouth, complemented by a Bachelor of Science in Geography from the University of Hull.
