Barun Das

Barun Das has extensive work experience in the media industry. Barun joined Associated Broadcasting Co. Pvt Ltd (TV9) in 2019 and served as the Chief Executive Officer until June 2022 when they were appointed as the Managing Director and CEO. Prior to that, they were the Founder of Mydia100 Communications Pvt. Ltd since 2013. Barun also held leadership positions at Zee News Ltd as the CEO from 2007 to 2012, MCCS (Star News) as the Executive VP from 2006 to 2007, Astro All Asia Network as the Head of International Business Development from 2005 to 2006, and the India Today Group as the Associate Publisher of the Business Group from 2000 to 2005.

Barun Das attended the Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta from 1994 to 1997. Barun then pursued a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) degree from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras. Later on, they participated in the Gurukul Program on Leadership and Excellence at the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE).
