Enrique Oviedo MD has an extensive background in psychiatry, starting in 2010 at the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs as a Staff Psychiatrist. Enrique later worked at Sheppard Pratt Health System as a Staff Psychiatrist before transitioning to roles at Catholic Charities of Baltimore, including Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist, Assistant Medical Director, and eventually Medical Director. In 2019, they became the Chief Medical Officer at MATClinics. Alongside these positions, Dr. Oviedo also had their own private practice, Oviedo Psychiatry LLC, focused on Child & Adolescent, Adult, and Addiction Psychiatry. Most recently, they have been a Consulting Psychiatrist at Greater Baltimore Medical Center, Inc. since 2020. Enrique also holds a role as a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Child & Adolescent Psychiatry at the University of Maryland School of Medicine since 2012.

Enrique Oviedo MD completed their Doctor of Medicine degree at the Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences at the University at Buffalo in 2007. Enrique then pursued their Psychiatry Residency Program at the University of Maryland School of Medicine from 2007 to 2010, followed by a Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Residency Program from 2010 to 2012. Finally, they completed an Addiction Psychiatry Residency Program at the University of Maryland School of Medicine from 2014 to 2015.
