Carrie Conzelman

Interim VP for Finance at Associated Colleges of the Midwest

Carrie Conzelman is the Interim VP for Finance at Associated Colleges of the Midwest. Prior to this, they served as Vice President, Finance U.S. at Cision from January 2009 to November 2012. In this role, they were responsible for directing all US accounting and finance functions, and acting as a liaison to our corporate office in Stockholm.

Conzelman ensured time critical reporting in accordance with IFRS, GAAP and SEC standards and analysis on a weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual basis. Carrie supervised five professional employees directly, and twenty professional and clerical employees indirectly including Accounting Manager, Financial Systems and Analysis Manager, and Senior Credit and Collections Manager, Senior Contract Administration/Sales Support Manager, and Corporate Counsel.

During their time at Cision, Conzelman finalized the implementation of Softrax – revenue recognition and billing system for high transaction volumes – ensuring more accurate revenue recognition, forecasting, billing, and aging of receivables. Carrie was also the Global Lead on Finance portion of CisionPoint Global Commercialization project. In addition, Conzelman participated in the company Mentoring program and created improved accounts receivable reporting to better identify at risk accounts reducing DSO by 26 days. Finally, they created a daily cash report to track cash flow on a timely basis enabling corrective action when necessary.

Carrie Conzelman has a MBA in Finance and Accounting Management from Keller Graduate School of Management of DeVry University. Carrie also has a BA in Political Science from Cornell College and Boston University.

They are on a team with Allen Linton II - Senior Director of Equity, Diversity & Inclusion, Brian Williams - VP for Strategic Initiatives, and Betsy Hutula - COO & VP for Administration. Carrie Conzelman reports to Sonya Malunda, President.
