Michael Shirley

Michael Shirley has a long and varied work experience. Michael began their career in 1997 as a Senior Associate at PriceWaterhouseCoopers. Michael then moved to GWB (USA), Inc. in the same year, taking on the role of Vice President. In 2004, they became Chief Financial Officer at Sun Microstamping Technologies, where they were responsible for financial management of an electronic automotive manufacturing plant with US and Mexico operations. In 2008, they joined Gulf Atlantic Capital Corporation as a Senior Manager, providing distressed financial advisement with a heavy focus on detailed cash forecasting and business planning. Michael then moved to Woodside Capital Management in 2009, where they served as Managing Director. In 2015, they joined Alexander Battery Technologies as President & CEO, leading a U.S. and U.K. team. In 2022, they took on two roles: Chief Executive Officer at Associated Environmental Systems and Executive Partner at Salt Creek Capital.

Michael Shirley attended Oglethorpe University from 1993 to 1997, where they earned an Accounting degree with a focus in Finance.
