Mike Andersen

Mike Andersen has extensive experience in database administration, spanning over four decades. Currently serving as a Senior Database Administrator at Associated Food Stores since April 2000, Mike specializes in Microsoft SQL Server, with expertise in various versions including 2000, 2005, 2008, 2008R2, and 2012, along with experience on Unisys A-Series mainframe systems. Prior to this role, Mike worked as a Principal Database Administrator for Davis County Government from December 1986 to March 2000, handling both Unisys A-Series and older SQL Server versions. Mike's career began at Hertz Rent-A-Car between March 1983 and December 1985 as a COBOL programmer and Principal DBA on the Borroughs B1800 mainframe. Mike holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business/Managerial Economics from Utah State University, earned between 1977 and 1980.
