Magda Garncarz currently serves as the Associate Vice President of Government Affairs at Associated Industries of Massachusetts, a position held since October 2023. Prior to this role, Magda was a Research Analyst for the Committee on Telecommunications, Utilities, & Energy in the Massachusetts House of Representatives from May 2016 to September 2023, where responsibilities included collaborating with policymakers and stakeholders to draft energy and climate legislation and evaluating relevant bills. Magda also worked as a Legislative Aide for Representative Thomas A. Golden Jr., managing communication with the district and drafting various documents. Earlier experience includes working as a Legal Assistant at Belcher Law Office, a Political-Economic Intern at the U.S. Embassy in Warsaw, and a Research Intern at Verité. Magda holds an Offshore Wind Professional Certificate from the University of Massachusetts Amherst and has earned advanced degrees in International and Political Studies and undergraduate degrees in Political Science and Psychology from the same institution.
