Marc B. Terrill

President at The Associated

Marc has served as the professional leader of The Associated since 2003 and is one of only six individuals who have held this position over The Associated’s 100-year history. In this important leadership capacity, Marc has provided vision and practical strategies to enhance community-building, to deploy resource development and to foster alliances with a wide array of strategic partners.

Marc holds an undergraduate degree from the University of Florida and a Masters of Social Work with a concentration in community organization from the Wurzweiler School of Social Work at Yeshiva University. He has also received continuing education certificates from the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania, the Center for Creative Leadership in Greensboro, North Carolina and Harvard University in areas of management and leadership theory as well as application and strategy development. In 2005, Marc received an Honorary Doctorate from Baltimore Hebrew University (now known as the Baltimore Hebrew Institute at Towson University).

He has served on several charitable boards including the Baltimore Community Foundation, LifeBridge Health Systems and JPro Network. Marc has received numerous awards and accolades including the presentation of the Mandelkorn Distinguished Service Award for Outstanding Professional National Leadership (2014) from the JPro Network.
