Russ Awe

Russ Awe is an experienced broadcast engineering professional with a career spanning over three decades. Currently serving as a Remote Truck Engineer in Charge at PBS Wisconsin since July 2007, Russ oversees engineering operations and collaborates with directors and producers to assess production feasibility. Additionally, Russ has been a System Engineer at Bethel Lutheran Church since March 2005, leading live production and technical direction. Previous roles include positions at Wisconsin Public Television as an Engineer/Editor, WQOW-News 18 as a Production Specialist, and as a Stage Manager at the Eau Claire Regional Arts Council - State Theater. Russ began the career as a Master Control Operator at Weau, specializing in program playback and training. Educational background includes studies at Chippewa Valley Technical College.
