Aaron Kessler

Aaron Kessler is a seasoned data and investigative journalist with extensive experience across major media organizations. Currently serving as a Data and Investigative Journalist at The Associated Press since February 2022, Kessler previously worked at Bloomberg Industry Group and CNN, where significant contributions included leading data analysis efforts and tackling investigative projects related to political campaigns and government actions. Kessler's background also encompasses roles at The E.W. Scripps Company as a National Investigative Producer, The New York Times as a Business/Automotive Writer, and 100Reporters as an Investigative Reporter focusing on international corruption. Kessler holds a Master’s Degree in Business and Economics Journalism from Columbia University and an M.A. in Journalism from the University of Missouri-Columbia, complemented by a Bachelor of Arts from Washington University in St. Louis.
