Ben Finley is an experienced journalist with a robust career in reporting and writing. Currently serving as a Correspondent for the Associated Press since June 2016, Ben has covered a wide range of topics, from tragic mass shootings to intriguing historical debates. Prior roles at the Associated Press include Legislative Relief Staff Member, where coverage included contemporary issues in New Jersey, and various positions at the Philadelphia Inquirer and FactCheck.org, focusing on veterans' issues, legislative scrutiny, and political claims analysis. Ben has received 17 honors and awards for excellence in reporting across several categories and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from The Ohio State University, along with additional education from the Washington Center for Politics and Journalism.
