Karen Mahabir

Karen Mahabir currently serves as the Director of News Talent and AP Fact Check & Misinformation Editor at The Associated Press since October 2017. Prior to this role, Karen was the Managing Editor of News at HuffPost from June 2015 to September 2017 and worked as a Digital Products Producer at The Associated Press from October 2012 to June 2015. Karen holds a Master's degree in International Journalism from City St George’s, University of London, and a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature from the University of Sussex, with a focus on British and Commonwealth literature.
